Wrestling an Alligator

If you find yourself here, then you probably know exactly what I am talking about. Your precious little toddler's hair has started to grow out. You can now do more than just pin it back with clips or headbands. You want to do the cutest Pinterest ideas you can find for her hair.

{Execpt there's one little problem..}

Your princess does not want to sit there and let you play with her hair. Not all toddlers are this way, but I would bet the vast majority of them do not like to sit for cute hairstyles.

My daughter is one of those difficult toddlers.

There have been times that I felt like I was wrestling an alligator in order get her hair up in a simple pony tail.

The key, patience and repetition.

To even get my daughter to sit for a braid, I had to tell her we were doing a princess hairstyle.

She is getting more and more use to the idea of me fixing her hair.

That being said, the pictures I will provide you with step-by-step instructions, is how her hair looked immediately after I fixed it, it more than likely did not look that great an hour later.

She's a toddler, what do you expect.
